Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar Anand assumes role of air officer-in-charge administration

Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar Anand, a distinguished recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal, has taken charge as the Air Officer-in-Charge Administration (AOA), as confirmed by the Ministry of Defence.

As per an official statement by the Ministry of Defence, Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar Anand graduated from the prestigious National Defence Academy and was commissioned as an air traffic controller in the administrative branch of the Indian Air Force on June 13, 1987.

The statement further highlighted his professional achievements, stating that he successfully completed the Higher Air Command Course from the College of Air Warfare and the Area Control Course from the renowned Singapore Aviation Academy.

With a commendable career spanning over 36 years, Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar Anand has served in various field and staff appointments. Prior to assuming his current position, he held the esteemed role of Director General (Administration) at Air Headquarters in New Delhi.

Recognizing his exceptional contributions, the President of India bestowed upon him the Vishisht Seva Medal in January 2022, acknowledging his remarkable service to the nation.
